Talking Fashion Ideas

So what do you get your cat for her birthday? Something practical like a wall mounted scratch board to keep her away from the drapes? A nice wee woollen play toy for her to unravel in a constructive way? Her favourite meal laid out to her?
Oh no you'd be wrong try one of these suggestions http://www.dogcatsupplies.com/cneckwear.html
And humiliate her until she is clawing it off her little neck
how fabulous darling (air kisses)

Wow, why didn't I think of that ... I could be rich right now! I think the closest to that we ever came was when it was really hot out and my mother decided to give our cats "Lion cuts" ... where you shave the fur except on the paws, the tuft at the end of the tail, and around the neck. They looked pretty ridiculous and definitely did not appreciate it.

Talking seriously??

hahaha I laughed for a solid minute- I can just picture it! You were lucky, isnt it most little girls fantasy to chop away like you have your own salon I know a few of my barbies fell victim to this, you must see if you can look out a photo.

Oh yes, I'll look for a photo of my cats, but they looked just like this. And just as unhappy I, unfortunately, got that desire to cut things when I was young and ... alas ... took it out on myself. I cut a huge chunk of my bangs out and gave myself a permanent cowlick. AWESOME.

Default Lion Cuts

I used to give my cat Charlie a lion cut in the summertime to help keep him cool. He HATED the process, but loved the effects. I figured it was worth putting him through the stress to do so, especially when going outside during the summertime in New Mexico.

They do look a little funny for the first couple weeks, however.

I doubt that short-furred cats would ever need this treatment - though I could be wrong.
